Taylor is an up and coming u23 rider, after being introduced to mountain biking by his grandfather Neil Dall, an Australian Master’s 24hr solo champion who has competed on the world stage for 24hr solo racing. In late 2007 he joined the Flight Centre Scott MTB Team, who he raced for, for 7months, till they became the Flight Centre Merdia Team. Being on such a well known team really helped Taylor become more confident at races and riding in general and with the support, his results improved, now Taylor is riding for the newley formed Campos Coffee Elite Cycling Team for 2011.
Taylor has just completed year 12 at Kelvin Grove State College located close to Brisbane’s CBD, and is looking forward to next year to focus on racing without school. Taylor now have 3 years of competitive mountain biking racing under his belt and a year of road racing and have drawn valuable experience from every event I have competed in as well as from my exposure to quality senior riders.
Taylor enthusiastic and passionate about developing my career in cycling and am keen to tackle some of the longer races that I have been excluded from due to my age. My long term goal is to turn professional on the road.
Outside of sport, and part-time work I enjoy listening to music and hanging out with friends.
Taylor's best result for 2010 was his 4th place finish at the 2010 24hr Mountain Bike World Championships. Taylor road consistently and constantly for the full 24hrs only to be beaten my 3 much older and experienced rides.
